My Students: My classroom is unique, and I teach a life skills class. Each of my students is gifted in their own beautiful ways. My students have learning difficulties, but they are amazing, incredible learners. Our classroom is set up differently than most classrooms to better meet the needs of our students. In my classroom, we do stations so that my students are in very small groups. In this way, we are better able to meet the needs of each learner.
My Project: In my classroom, my students work on individualized tasks in their IEP binders. Each student has two binders with tasks for all subjects. In order to create the needed tasks, we need ink. Having ink allows us to make reading, math science, social studies, living skills, and behavioral tasks for each student. We do rotations in my classroom, where students have specific time to work on each IEP goal and objective. Donating these items would allow me to be able to create needed new task items for my students, and would enhance their ability to learn and understand new concepts.
My Students Need: My students need ink in order to increase skills in the classroom environment.
