Since 1998, The Mansfield ISD Education Foundation has given back in excess of $2,000,000 to Mansfield Independent School District Schools, in the form of Educator Grants made possible by the common passion for excellence in education that is shared by our community.

The Foundation serves as an investment vehicle for those who support the vision of excellence in education for which Mansfield ISD is known.

The Foundation provides an innovative source of funding to support the school district's educational plan of excellence.

Academic Recognition Banquet May 2, 2011

Each year the Mansfield ISD Education Foundation recognizes the Top 60 graduating seniors, and provide for them an opportunity to thank an educator who has influenced them the most. The pride that is evident in these mentors as they listen to quotes from the students emphasizes the importance of this noble vocation. To witness the impact that our educators have had on our district�s top students is a remarkable experience.

Monday, May 2, 2011 Academic Banquet, Arlington Convention Center 7:00 pm. If you would like information about sponsoring a table or purchasing tickets for this event please contact the foundation office at (817) 299-6354. Table sponsor levels are $500, $1,000 Preferred Sponsor, $2,500 Corporate Sponsor. Ticket price is $50 per person. See the complete list of students being honored.

 

Foundation Golf Tournament - June 20, 2011

One of the Mansfield ISD Education Foundation�s most successful fund raising events is the Annual Golf Tournament, which provides an opportunity to mix business with pleasure as we come together with sponsors and supporters.

Without the generous support of our many donors and sponsors, none of this would be possible. Your support allows us to find new ways of keeping our schools on the cutting edge and preparing for the future.

Education Foundation Fall 2010 Grant Winners

The Mansfield ISD Education Foundation completed its 24th round of grants on November 11 and 18, 2010 by surprising unsuspecting teachers and staff with some very large checks.

The grant patrol, consisting of community members, MISD Administration and Education Foundation Board members, traveled to various MISD campuses to award deserving staff. See the list of winners along with a photo gallery.

The Education Foundation was created to support the educational programs for both the students and teachers for the Mansfield Independent School District.

Funds provided by the Foundation directly benefit students in the Mansfield Independent School District and will make a positive difference for them.

 

IMPORTANT - Foundation Grant Winners

If you are a Mansfield ISD Education Foundation grant winner you are required to provide the foundation office a report of your grant in action. Please provide us with photos or video and a brief description of your grant in action.

Also include information on how the grant is progressing and the success of the students learning as a result of the grant funds. We will feature each grant on the foundation website.

Photos and information can be e-mailed to the foundation office or by simply replying to this newsletter and you will be contacted by the foundation multi-media producer.
